Welcome to our seminar «No lost generation. The challenges of accessing education and professional training for Syrian refugees”.
Our Members Patricia Lalonde, Hilde Vautmans, Teresa Gimenez-Barbat and Louis Michel and the French association ADICR would like to propose a seminar on improving women and young people’s ICT skills and therefore their employability or their business in the Middle East region. ADICR’s „ICT Caravans“ project is developed in close partnership with IFAP which is the programme for information and communication of UNESCO. The seminar will be devoted to see what is the situation of the Syrian refugees and the challenges in accessing culture, education and training in the refugees camps, as well as how the EU institutions (Trust fund for Syria for example) and public authorities, such as ministries and local municipalities, could be involved in such project.
